Thank you to everyone who has been getting their matches played. We’re making excellent progress in both Singles competitions, and things are starting to move along nicely in the Pairs as well.
Please keep in mind that the busy season at The Greens is just around the corner, so it would be ideal to have as many matches as possible completed before December.

Rules of Entry & Summary of Conditions of Play
When entering the pairs, one player can complete the entry, naming both players in their position. Please agree who will be submitting the entry so we do not get duplicates!
A brief summary of the Conditions of Play is below:
-
Singles: Winner is first to 25 points, number of ends and playing time is not limited, 4 bowls per player. A marker is required for all matches.
-
Pairs: 21 ends, 4 bowls per player (lead 2, skip 2, lead 2, skip 2). No time limit.
-
Both competitions: 2 trial (practice) ends. If the jack goes out of bounds the end is replayed.
2026 Open Pennants - RESPONSES NEEDED!
Although the Pennant season does not begin until March 2026, entries must be submitted in November 2025.
To complete our entry, we need to confirm how many teams we can field and in which grades.
We are therefore asking all members to let us know if you are interested in representing North Sydney in the 2026 Open Pennant season. The regular season will run over six Saturdays, starting on 21 March 2026 and finishing on 9 May 2026. If we progress to the finals, these will be held on 23 and 24 May 2026.
At this stage, we are simply seeking expressions of interest.
Please let us know:
-
Whether you would like to play

Any dates you already know you will be unavailable.
We understand it’s difficult to be certain about your plans six months in advance, so we will confirm availability in more detail closer to the season. Indicate your interest here
